Eden Restored

You can’t effectively talk about the end without talking about the beginning – the result always has a cause. As we come to the end of the Revelation given to John, we are given a small glimpse into what God has planned for His children – one that is a perfect complement to all which was lost in Eden. When we truly consider the complete corruption caused by our sin, we come to realize why God had to do what He did to redeem creation. Much of what we see in His approach is an affront to our fallen flesh, yet it was not only necessary, it was in fact the only way for Him to save His beloved creation. And in the realization of this reality, we must relent – there is so much we do not know and so much we don’t understand – all we can do is simply trust that God has this … all the way to the end.
