Judgment Day

Does anyone really want to think about Judgment Day? Most people – believers or not – want to live their lives without the prospect of judgment hanging over their heads; but most people also realize that it’s a reality none of us will escape. As we draw closer to the end of the Revelation given to John, we must deal with the Great White Throne Judgment – where everyone who has ever lived will have to answer to God for the time He gave them here on earth. When we think of that moment and consider all of our many failings, it is easy to be flooded with feelings of despair – am I worthy? Is anyone worthy? The plain and simple answer is no: no one who has ever lived – save Christ Himself – can survive Judgment Day.
