Unveiling the Spiritual Realm Part 2: On Earth

As we read the Revelation, we must understand that God was “pulling back the curtain” so that John might see reality from His perspective. In our last message, we looked at what was occurring in heaven – specifically for the purpose of seeing God, Satan and the elect as they are meant to be seen. Now we turn our attention back to life on earth and the spiritual reality that exists in our material world. The Revelation provides a glimpse into the reality that we serve one of two masters, God or Satan – there is no middle ground. This is made clear through the distinction between Zion and Babylon, the Holy Trinity and Satan’s trinitarian parody and the people who are aligned accordingly. These distinctions are a constant throughout redemptive history and will remain with us until the consummation of all things – leaving all of us with a very clear choice that needs to be made: with whom do we identify?
