Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Our God is an extravagant giver, and as we are conformed to His image, we should expect to imitate Him in this manner. Our giving is not unto man or manmade institutions, but unto God Himself – that we may become willing vessels which He pours out for His great purpose in this desperate world of ours.
