The Atonement of Sin

The atonement of our sins is central to the Gospel message and why it is called “Good News”. Some may feel like they’ve “heard the story a thousand times”, but let us all be filled with joy to hear it once more. In the Epistle to the Hebrews, we see the atonement from Christ’s sacrifice compared to that of bulls and goats, and we come to understand how liberating an atonement this truly is. We will be looking at the Gospel through the eyes of the original Hebrew audience in the hope that we all gain an even further appreciation for all that Christ did on our behalf.
